CLCWeb: Comparative Literature and Culture (ISSN 1481-4374), the peer-reviewed quarterly of scholarship in the humanities and social sciences is published online in full text and in open access by Purdue University Press ©Purdue University and in hard-copy annuals in the Purdue University Press monograph series of Books in Comparative Cultural Studies. CLCWeb publishes scholarship following tenets of the disciplines of comparative literature and cultural studies designated as "comparative cultural studies" in a global, international, and intercultural context and with a plurality of methods and approaches. In addition to the publication of articles, CLCWeb publishes review articles of scholarly books and publishes research material in its Library Series. Work published in the journal is indexed in the Annual Bibliography of English Language and Literature, in the Arts and Humanities Citation Index, in Humanities International Complete, and in the International Bibliography of the Modern Language Association of America. CLCWeb is mirrored on the website of the British Comparative Literature Association, it is preserved at research libraries in theStanford University lockss system, and it is archived in the Electronic Collection of Library and Archives Canada.

AMERICANA – E-Journal of American Studies in Hungary, supported and maintained by the Department of American Studies at the Institute of English and American Studies, University of Szeged, has been launched to provide a forum for students and scholars who are actively engaged in studying the culture of the United States of America and the Americas. AMERICANA is entirely non-profit, copyrights of the articles are licensed under Creative Commons 2.5. The journal serves exclusively as an educational and academic forum for scholars and students having interest in the field of American Studies. Welcome to Current Issues in Education (CIE), an online research journal devoted to advancing scholarly thoughts in the field of education. CIE publishes articles that promote educational dialogue, research, practice, and policy. We also strive to develop and deepen a sense of scholarship within our academic community. We publish approximately three journal issues per year. Given the flexibility of our online format, we also extend the privilege to add additional articles as special topics and current events warrant extra attention to timely educational issues. Heritage Language Journal

HLJ, an online, blind-refereed journal, was established in 2002 to provide a forum for scholars to publish the results of their research and to advance knowledge about educating heritage speakers. HLJ is published jointly by the Center for World Languages of UCLA and the UC Consortium for Language Learning and Teaching and is housed on a server hosted by the UCLA International Institute. The journal seeks submissions from researchers and practitioners in: linguistics & applied linguistics, psychology, sociology, language education, language policy, other relevant fields.

The goal of the journal is to promote research but also education and training in the area of intercultural communication. The journal is an outgrowth of the activities of NIC – the Nordic Network for Intercultural Communication. The great interest shown in the activities of NIC have pointed to a need for more journals employing a peer review procedure within the area of intercultural communication. By starting this journal, we hope to encourage more research and to facilitate contacts between interested researchers as well as to provide better possibilities for reviewed publication.
